SkillsFuture Singapore says a self-diagnostic AI readiness tool will be available through MySkillsFuture by 2Q 2026. MOE's 2026 announcements also say selected AI-related courses will be offered by Institutes of Higher Learning to alumni at significant discounts from the second half of 2026.
For students and working learners, this is more than a mid-career policy update. It changes how coursework should be planned, documented and connected to future job readiness.
The new tool is meant to help users gauge their AI readiness and receive course recommendations. Gov.sg also explained that Singaporeans taking selected SkillsFuture AI courses from the second half of 2026 will receive six months of premium AI tool access to practise what they learn.
That creates a bridge between formal study, short courses and workplace readiness. A student who only finishes assignments in isolation may miss the chance to show transferable evidence. A student who documents the process can turn coursework into proof of judgement, tool use, source discipline and communication.
Before waiting for a formal readiness score, students can start building an AI-readiness folder:
This is useful for private university learners, part-time students, adult learners and final-year students preparing for job interviews.
Responsible assignment help in Singapore should increasingly support the student's process, not hide it. The best support scope might be a concept walkthrough, outline review, source quality check, debugging session, model-evaluation review or final editing pass.
For paper writing support, the focus should be argument structure, citation logic and evidence gaps. For machine learning assignments, the focus should be data preparation, model choice, metrics and limitations. For Python assignment help, the focus should be explainable code and tests.
The aim is not to turn AI into a shortcut. The aim is to make the student's thinking more visible.
Ask these questions before seeking support or submitting a draft:
If several answers are no, the next step should be learning support, not cosmetic polishing.
Codingo can help students prepare clearer drafts, explain code, review sources, test assumptions, debug errors and turn messy coursework into more useful reference material. For students balancing work and study, we can help identify the smallest responsible support scope before the deadline becomes unmanageable.
Send the brief, rubric and current state through Codingo contact. We can advise whether you need tutoring, editing, debugging, source review or a guided draft plan.
